The Ripped Jeans Controversy

Tirath Singh Rawat made a divisive remark during the opening session of the Uttarakhand State Commission's second workshop on child rights security in Dehradun. In his address, he expressed surprise at meeting a woman who runs an NGO while dressed in ripped jeans and questioned the social she provides to people. Later, he added that if a child is raised in the right community, he will never struggle in life. And he referred to it as a poor illustration. Ganesh Joshi, a newly named cabinet minister, previously made a similar remark, saying, "Women should concentrate on raising good kids."
"Change your mentality before changing your clothes," Navya naveli Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, wrote in her Instagram storey in response to Uttarakhand CM's statement. In another post, she posted a throwback photo in ripped jeans with the caption "I'll wear my ripped jeans thank you and always proudly." "Women wearing torn jeans can't provide right atmosphere at home for children...and you can?" she asks later.
